Maxi-Bolt Application - Seismic Retrofits of Bridges

Connections can be a serious problem during earthquakes. The Tennessee Department of Transportation turned to Maxi-Bolts to help solve the problem. By securing brackets to the beam and the abutment with Maxi-Bolts, and then running a cable between them, the beams were restricted from dislodging in a seismic event.
